After months of waiting for fans of the free soccer game eFootball 2024, Konami finally announced the new update No. 3.2.0, which brings with it many awaited fixes and additions. Let’s get to know it in detail.
With this update, eFootball 2024 has introduced a host of new features to improve the user experience and bring a new level of excitement.
Our new My League game mode will see players placed in leagues around the world, playing against the clubs within them, controlled by artificial intelligence.
There are also improvements to multiplayer, with players now able to play alone, or join strangers in match rooms to form new friendships and connections through 3v3 matches. There will also be a daily mini-game upon logging in which will see players win great prizes every day and every month!
Alongside this announcement, KONAMI announced confirmation of the new Football Championship tournament format. 2024 will see two events: the eFootball Championship Open (in its usual format) and the newer format: the eFootball Championship Club Event.
My League
My League is a new game mode for eFootball 2024. Users will play against the AI one season at a time using their dream team. Users can add players on loan from their chosen team in the league (for example, AC Milan in the Italian League).
Throughout the season, users will experience weather effects and many new scenes, including a special cup celebration if they manage to top the table in the end!
This game mode can be played as many times as the user desires as well as the ability to switch leagues once the season is complete.
Collaborative Events Room
The co-op room has now been expanded to allow users to enjoy alone or alongside their friends. They will be able to join other single players to create teams of three to enjoy the co-op mode. They will also be able to interact in-game using emojis to react to events in matches.
From December 7th to 21st, those playing in co-op mode will be able to receive rewards including 4 x skill training programs to help develop their dream teams.
Login mini-games
Every day, users can challenge themselves in easy mini-games, winning items that can help improve their Dream Teams or even acquire new players. If users can complete these mini-games on consecutive days per month, they can receive rewards such as raffles for Epic-tier players!
New skill type – ‘Blitz Curler’
This update will also include a new skill that will get attack-minded players excited! The Blitz Curler skill will allow a sharp, controlled shot with vertical rotation when using the player's dominant foot and using more than 50% on the power meter.
The eFootball Championship is evolving for 2024
eFootball Championship 2024 will mark a new chapter in the series' official eSports tournaments. While the eFootball Open Championship will remain the same, KONAMI can today confirm the announcement of a new type of tournament: the eFootball Championship Club Event.
Club events will see players from anywhere in the world compete in-game to become the biggest fans of each of the participating clubs.
There will be online qualifiers for each region before all regional winners meet in the final to determine who will represent the club in the global finals.
The first club event eFootball Championship 2024 FC Barcelona will kick off the tournament period. There will be in-game rewards, such as special edition Big Time Cards, as well as club merchandise available for eFootball and football fans to enjoy!
