The eFootball 2024 game is getting closer to reaching one billion downloads!

The round magician for video game players continues to reach distinguished and unprecedented achievements, as the computer, home platforms and mobile version of the eFootball 2024 game has reached astronomical numbers in the number of its downloads.

On this occasion, the Japanese developer is celebrating this achievement by implementing a group of campaigns, gifts and exciting events. Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. today announced that its flagship soccer game eFootball has surpassed 700 million downloads worldwide.

To celebrate this achievement, KONAMI will be launching a campaign within eFootball 2024 with several features, from January 11 to February 1.

During these three weeks, there will be a special gift upon entering the game of 1 Player of the Week (POTW) for each week – three players in total. Users can also get 1 x Worldwide Chance Deal every day as an entry bonus during the campaign period.

During the campaign period users can participate in any of the Tour Events, Challenge Events and eFootball Leagues to earn up to 200,000 GP, 210 eFootball Coins and much more.

eFootball Championship Club: FC Bayern München

In December 2023, KONAMI released details of a change to its eSports tournaments, with the introduction of the eFootball Championship Club event.

The eFootball Championship Club event will see users from around the world participate in in-game regional qualifiers first, before a final that will determine who will represent each of the competing clubs. The FC Bayern München event is scheduled to start on Monday 15 January.

AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 commemorative campaign

Thanks to KONAMI's partnership with the Asian Football Confederation, eFootball™ will include a special gift upon entry to the game of ten different Chance Deals from 10 Asian teams competing in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup in Qatar.

Besides, three Epic players from Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia will be introduced.

eFootball v.3.2.0 update

In December 2023, eFootball™ moved to version 3.2.0, introducing several new features including a new ‘My League’ game mode, improvements to Co-op mode and login mini-games. This allowed users to enjoy the most diverse range of features within eFootball™ since its launch.
